By providing the digital receipt, Kweet is a platform to simplify the transaction process without eliminating the data itself, make used of the big data transaction, and reduce the cost of paper receipt.

Kweet formed along with the national movement in Indonesia called Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital.

I worked with my team, building a new startup with a product named “Kweet”. The problem comes from paper receipts that we often got everytime we go shopping. Most of them are thrown to the trash bin while some others are used to make financial report and individual notes. We want to optimized the role of these receipts by making it digitally acessible and no need to print it out because we want to reduce the trashes from useless papers.

I took the responsibility for designing the interaction and User Experience (UX). We developed and designed our product using the design sprint method. It started from defining and understanding problems, looking for the possible solutions, doing some research and competitive analysis, asking for some advices from our mentors (the experienced and expert people on startup environment), until making a prototype and test it to our targeted users.

DESIGN THINKING
We did brainstorming for knowing our problems that relate with paper receipts and why they’re still painful. Then, we proposed some solutions, stated the sprint challenge statement, and also defined our targeted users.

USER RESEARCH

We did an online user research to get the information about people’s habit in terms of using the paper receipts.

SKETCHING
Before implemented into the prototypes, I made some sketches for the mobile app.

I take pictures of the sketches I’ve made. After that, those sketches transferred into a tool named POP (Prototying on Paper) and I added some interaction so users can try it out and I could get feedbacks.  

EARLY USER TESTING
We did some interview and early testing for our first prototype design. We got many useful feedbacks to do some improvements then.

PROTOTYPE

These are some screens of Kweet mobile app which designed and considered based on the feedbacks we’ve got from the previous research, user study, and user testing.

USER TESTING

We had another interview with our users and let them tried our prototype to get their feedback again after doing some improvements of our previous design. The interaction between users and Kweet mobile app’s screens were recorded and we also did a note taking along with the session of this user study.

BUSINESS MODEL 
Beside making the design, we were also working on the business model and market validation. We did some online literature research, competitive analysis, and having further discussion with some experts.

VIDEO OF USER JOURNEY AND SCENARIO

We made a video to describe the user journey while using Kweet mobile app. We built the scenario and made a simulation at a coffee shop in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia.
